The final look from our up and coming editorial is inspired by old glamour à la Lauren Bacall. Make-up artist Lucie Stauffenegger created this summery look with coral tones on lips, cheeks, and eyes. Colors are well blended in to the skin, leaving a soft luminescent feel. Taking cue from the 80's, blue mascara is applied on lashes, while eyes are lined with dark blue liner, adding contrast to the very romantic look. Hair is echoing 1940's with loose curls tumbling down on the shoulders.
This look is perfect for any special occasion, adding that extra touch of vintage glamour. After applying a styling spray with heat protector, divide your hair into small sections, and curl your hair with curling iron. Once the curl is free, curl it back up with your fingers and pin it up using bobby pins. Leave the hair to cool completely before taking out the pins. Tousle the curls with your fingers or brush them open gently, and set the curls with hairspray.
