Today we started Paris Men's fashion week with Hardy Amies. Sir Hardy Amies launched his menswear line 51 years ago, showing at Savoy hotel in London. Today House of Hardy Amies made their debut in Paris under Creative Director Claire Malcolm. Her pieces took us to old Britain. Starting with frivolous glamour of pre-war, then continuing to post-war somberness with subdued military-inspired colors. Finally ending with new optimism, as showcased with the powerful white double-breasted suit in the end.
