With make-up artist Alex Box, Rankin began a trilogy of books in collaboration with some of the most imaginative make-up artists at the moment. Second in the trilogy, is the new book focusing on the work of Ayami Nishimura who transforms her creative visions into fantasy with elements of Japanese history. Her unique style is easily recognized for it's colorful and edgy take on beauty. Nishimura has a history of working with Rankin from Hunger to Dazed and Confused.
Images will be on exhibition at Rankin's Annroy Gallery, in London this month
