Artistic Director and designer Diana Law shares with us her Hong Kong.

Shop at: Everywhere…Hong Kong really is a shopping paradise, you will find everything here. Causeway Bay offers new & trendy designs while Central caters for the big international labels.  Joyce is an iconic department store that carries an array of international designers and for cutting edge designers visit the I.T flagship store. You can find retro objects at WDSG and fun porcelain finds at Loveramics. Take the time to also source Hong Kong designers such as Kay Kwok, Six Lee, and Ground-Zero at Lane Crawford.

Eat at: Bouchon for the nice French food and atmosphere; Indochine has got great Vietnamese cuisine, I particularly like being up on the garden rooftop; Isola serves delicious Italian food, overlooking the stunning harbour view.Parts of Wong Kar Wai's In the Mood for Love were shot at Goldfinch Restaurant, which and is full 60’s nostalgia.

Drink at: Catch up with friends for some nice wine at Sevva, the gargantuan terrace offers splendid views of the harbour and nearby skyscrapers. The Pawn is housed in a 19th century heritage building, quite a unique and cozy place to relax. A Ce Soir Bar is a great place to chill and wind down the evening. For the chance to drink at the highest bars in the world hit Ozone.

Party at: Dragon-I, it has a flattering ambiance with the city’s fashionable crowd and models. ARMANI/PRIVE – magnificent alfresco terrace with delicious cocktail. For futuristic décor try Bubble X.

Listen to: Bossa Nova, Stéphane Pompougnac…bit tongue in cheek but hip hop duo Chinese Man is fun, try Miss Chang ft. Taiwan MC & Cyph4 while getting ready to go out.

Stay at: Lan Kwai Fong Hotel for a warm welcome with its Asian-inspired interior, in the middle of the vibrant city. JIA Boutique Hotel, the first Philippe Starck-designed boutique hotel in Asia….for another boutique hotel experience stay at The Jervois. The Putman has an amazing art-deco façade.

Hidden Treasure: Can browse along Hollywood Road for nice Chinese antiques and art pieces…make sure all the certifications/paper-works are good. Hong Kong also is full of galleries that many people miss when they are busy on the shopping circuit, check out: Exit, OsageiLivetommorrowMadhouse Contemporary, and Gaosian Gallery.
