impressions of san francisco

san-francisco-01

I spent the first quarter of July in San Francisco. We landed to this great city while it was foggy and cold, I could feel the fog on my face like a natural facial treatment.

If you are looking for an apartment to stay while in SFO, check out this site. We found a cool little studio on the hill of Corona Heights just a few minutes from the bustling Castro neighborhood.

This view welcomed us to our temporary vacation home. I loved the large wooden patio, it was perfect for sipping the morning tea.

Given the surprisingly chilly weather conditions, I ended up wearing a leather jacket or Nike sports coat throughout my stay in San Francisco. On the right, the long staircase to our studio. The climbing up and down of the steep hills became my only exercise during the stay.

4th of July came and brought in some sunshine. Check out this patriotic decoration just a block from our studio.

San Francisco architecture - candy colors and cuteness overload.

Old Victorian houses on Alamo Square.

The Bay Bridge. We went to Oakland when the sun was going down, and witnessed an amazing view of the city in orange light.

Stay tuned for more posts on my west coast tour soon!

Old Victorian houses in San Francisco reveal beauty and history of not so very old western US city. Great Pics! Different colors and styles also under-gird SF’s ethnic and cultural diversity…so much in one pic!
