Yves Saint Laurent's extravagant gold packaging gives you always that lovely feeling of luxury. Just seeing it in your bathroom cabinet makes your make-up session just a little bit more glamorous.
And what's inside is far from any ordinary lip gloss. YSL's new glossy stain formula is rich with pigment. When I first tested it on my hand the stain lasted there for hours and hours. And the gloss is smooth and non-sticky, without a hint of shimmer, just the way I like it. The applicator's slanted tip makes it easy to apply, you can wear just a hint of it on your lips for a stain effect, or apply it generously to achieve the intense glossy color. I have shade no. 8, Orange de Chine. It looks quite intimidating at first, but once applied it's not too strong at all.
As so many other products out there, also this one proved to be multi-functional. I tested it on cheeks, just a dab, and then blended it well. It looks good on skin as well, gives out a nice, subtle stain. Now I'm eyeing up all the other delicious colors, because this will definitively stay in use.

I like the multi-use aspect of this make-up. It looks wonderful in the photo.
