5 tips for holiday packing

swimwear

It's the time of year we all have been waiting for. Although weather in Paris is keeping us from wearing all the lovely summer things, I have already started thinking about what to take with me to my upcoming trip in couple of weeks. To reduce the packing stress, I am trying to adhere to these few simple guidelines:

1/ Flattering Swimwear. I think the skimpy bikini times are over, I'm opting for slimming one-piece, or high-waisted bikini bottoms. From left to right Lisa Marie Fernandez The Leigh bandeau swimsuit, H&M Bikini, H&M Swimsuit.

2/ Colorful Accents. I like to add a touch of color, the easiest way is to show it in your accessories. Carven sunglasses and 3.1 Phillip Lim sandals.

3/ Chunky Metallics. Cool jewelry can take your casual holiday outfit to another level. Or just paint your nails with golden shimmer. Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat, Necklace No. Ultra, and  YSL ring.

4/ Care Free Accessories. For me these are essential, I don't want to worry over my fancy bag, a cool tote works as well for  going to beach. Anthony Peto Hats Wilcox straw hat, Athena Procopiou Cosmic eye scarf,  and Warehouse Straw Shopper.

5/ Soft Colors. Or actually any color scheme that you like, then it it easy to mix and match. I'm currently loving all these bluish hues. By Malene Birger Abondance printed silk-chiffon maxi dress, Acne Patti printed silk-chiffon shirtCurrent Elliott The Stiletto leopard-print low-rise skinny jeans, and J Brand Denim Low-rise denim cut-off shorts.
